Nelson WILL NOT walk into a top-6 role right away. In a year or two Frans will move to 3C and Brock will move to 2C

Strome CAN be a top-line winger out of camp. His drive in there to be in that spot (training with JT, showing emotion to make the NYI, etc.)

for the standpoint that grabner, who can pot 30 goals a year, will be playing 8-11 minutes a game on a checking IE not necessarily looking to score, line, its an awful idea.

Think Strome will learn system in Bridgeport, DeHaan needs to stay healthy, where I think its Donovan's spot to lose, Nelson might be the only kid could make it out of camp....

If no prospect makes it out of camp, that's a good problem to have bc its back to a full regular season and injuries will happen...

I would tend to agree with you on that point too, but Grabner is also one of the best defensive players on the team.
I know we want JT's line on the ice as much as possible, rolling 4 lines this season shouldn't be a problem whatsoever. Bring your lunch pail is you're playing us this season.

Plus the 3rd and 4th line is interchangeable...both are above average.

Strome already knows a system. Its called scoring and dishing assists.
I think the only question is his size and the concern that he can handle the physicality of playing against men.
