And that alone has this fan very excited - Powerslave
I agree, i'd rather watch the youngsters compete and lose. At least you get to see what you have, and what the future could hold.
Thats why I say Armia, Girgs, Grigs, Risto, Tropp, Pysyk, McNabb, Flynn. Should all be on the Sabres opening day.
Hell if Zadorov is looking good give him a 10 game tryout. |

Since Pegula took over and pretty much tripled the size of the scouting dept, yes. Before that his track record was pretty bad. - ImThatGuy
and the amount of College kids we are signing is great too...
Makarov, Flynn, Schaller, Ruhwedel, and one more I think? |

I have read...
Montreal, Philly, Pitt, Boston, and SJ were his top choices.. and he didn't get offered more than 2M to play for any of them.
Same thing as last year.. he got 5M I think from Dallas and then at the deadline he was dealt for the 1st if Boston got to the Conf. but then Boston only took on about 2M of his cap hit so he got the money he wanted in a year and Boston got the cap hit they could afford. - JVince11
See, this I don't get. I know he's old but he also got 30+ points last year playing for Dallas..... Give him $2M plus $3M in bonuses he has to earn. He'd probably wind up around $4M you want him for and he is motivated. Throw in a paid trip to vegas at the all star break and he's signing for sure |

Somehow hab fans still think Briere is a better signing than Jagr or Morrow would have been.

honestly... in Buffalo..... I think is where some of these kids would be better off... Rolston has been known to be good at working with the kids and developing the player.. it was Ruff that ruined it.
we are hiring a new coach in Rochester in the next few days and... frankly.. I don't trust him. |

If they are deserving of a spot I agree. The agrument people make that some prospects shouldn't be on this years team because we are going to suck is such bull&%$#. Let these kids fail first, get a taste of how bad losing is and come back with fire. If they don't have the fire to win it's an easy filter to get rid of them. |
