Vanek doesn't play for the "Sabers". They don't exist. I heard Erik Karlsson was getting traded to the Seniterrs, though. They seem like a decent team.

New Jersey is a different division though, which means the Sabres will play them once more per season than each of the western conference teams. They wouldn't play against them in the playoffs except in the Eastern conference finals. Divisions are now much more important than conferences.

That's not necessarily true. Not that either Buffalo or NJ are likely to win their divisions for some time, but the division winners can end up playing the lowest team to qualify for the playoffs in the opposite division in the 1st round.

We dont have assets to trade you. No way in hell we'd trade both Adams. Both are considered our core players.
