This is awful for Devs fans. I feel for all of you. The team signs this guy to a deal that costs them a first round pick, then he takes off for home and retires at 30. So the Devs lose Kovy, the first round pick and they couldn't even get into the Free Agency fray because of when Kovy retired. Damn...
