D'Agostini; Matt F'n D'Agostini, this teams roster is a joke. We should have just blew it up and rebuild. What a total joke this team is going to be this year, will we make the playoffs? Yeah; but we will get absolutely destroyed in the 1st round. This team has no backbone, no guts, thanks Shero (gm of the year). What a freaking joke, does no one else really see this? This team has no heart. - nbartley9
Whoa---whoa---whoa! That's a lot to assume. They are definitely going to make a trade or two to balance the cap and try to improve the roster if at all possible. I think there is plenty of grounds to think they'll have success. I aslo whole heartedly disagree they're in the toilet in July. Give Shero some credit, man. |

Ha ha Crosby Geno letang are all world talents and they are locked up for the next 8 years you are a contender every year. The roster is incomplete at the moment wait until the season begins. I'd like some more grit as well but blowing up a team with those stars is insane. |

It's early still. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus, it's all boring on the Penguins front right now.
I would've loved to see them make some moves and get an influx of very talented youth but that didn't happen. I'm over it.
For $550k I see nothing wrong with bringing D'Agostini in. If he works out, great! If not then he can push some guys in WBS. His numbers aren't terrible for the deal. |

Did Vancouver get penalized as well?If not, it's unfair to the Devils franchise..
If you have a chance to pick Connor McDavid, you have to take it. This kid will be special.

I saw him play last year in Erie. Because of his age (15 at the time) he wasn't as physically developed as the guys he was playing against, but he played the game on a different plane.

This kid is the next #1 draft pick.
And, with the first selection in this years draft, team ________ picks Connor McDavid. |

Agreed. Saw some of the same stuff. Maybe a bit tentative then. Definitely has the ability to make some tremendous plays. Crosby himself saw similarities. He seems to be an even keeled kid too. He gets what comes with that sort of comparison. Good for him. He'll go in the top 3 and most likely #1. |

And I'm laying here watching
game 6 of the islanders series hate Tk all you want we will miss him. Good player - dbell646
Go back and watch some of those SCF games in "09. That third line was great.
No doubt he had a bad year, but I think it's difficult to judge players on a screwy shortened season with no training camp.
Like I said earlier, I don't know if it makes sense to move him over a player like Nisky. Of course I think Nisky will still be traded too.
And then there's this.... More playoff winning goals than Sid. |

Tough to turn down that 2nd rounder though. Jokinen is a far more valuable guy if you ask me. No disrespect to TK but he wasn't getting it done. To his credit, as I said he would, he helped improve his value in the playoffs and against division opponents. |
