He's done in the AHL anyway. If he leaves TO its in a trade. Bob Stauffer kind of hinted at us making a trade for him. What would you guys expect in return for him? - Ihatebrianburke
Everyone has a price but i don't really see the point in trading a guy that cheap, with that high of a ceiling. Edmonton wont offer the world for him, and hes not really worth that. Might as well keep him. |

10-11, 11-12. Thats how far you have to go back to get some worthwhile stats for him. |

Hence his current paycheque....wonder if Orpik figured that out. |

Colborne's contract smells of last chance. He starts in the minors and has to dominate to be called up. He'll be the 4th lowest paid Marlie. He'll be gone asap IMO. |

We'd probably only offer Nick Shultz and a low pick. How about Franson and Colburne to Edmonton for 1st rounder, Nick Shultz, and one of Gernat/ Musil? |

I do think we've officially reached "make it or break it" time for big Joe.
He's got to crack the roster out of training camp (or shortly into the 2013-14 season) or his time here is done.
23 is the age at which prospects become lifetime AHLers. |

Uhhh
As a one way contract, he gets paid 600k no matter what.
Anyone on a two way is probably getting around 75k max. |

Orpik was using D'agostini's stats to make a point, production from 2010 is pretty even, but we didn't pay for 2010. We payed for what he's done the last two seasons. And D'agostini was paid for what he hasn't done the last two seasons. |

What's funny is Ts19's homo-erotic fantasy for a douche bag, over-rated hockey player who appears to hate gays. |

Seriously though, I think Colborne will be an NHLer, but right now he's heading more to David Steckel territory then say Nik Antropov territory. |

Doesn't mean he won't be with the Marlies, just means he'll be making a ton of money in the minors. - Jeffmt
Of course it doesn't mean that. What it does mean though is that he is going to be given every opportunity to make the big club and its just about his job to lose. |
