I think we barely make it under the cap if we only go with 12 forwards and 7 D.
Colbornes' 600K really helps. My remaining RFA amounts are in bold. I think they are very reasonable.

1 Bozak 4.2
2 Kessel 5.4
3 Lupul 5.25
4 JVR 4.25
5 Bolland 3.375
6 Kuli 2.8
7 McClem 1.5
8 Orr 0.925
9 Kadri 3.25
10 Colborne 0.6
11 McClaren 0.7
12 Clarkson 5.25

1 Phanuef 6.5
2 Liles 3.895
3 Gardiner 1.116
4 Gunner 2.5
5 Fraser 1.2
6 Franson 3.75
7 Brennan 0.6

1 Reimer 1.8
2 Bernier 2.9

Buyouts and Retained Salary 2.5

Players 21

Total Salary 64.261
Cap 64.3
Over/Under 0.039

- D.Lemieux

Kadri and Franson are both high. Kadri will be under 3 Mil and Franson will be about 3 mil.

You are actually 100% wrong.

Toronto learned its lessons from Hurricane Hazel. Its decision to establish the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority was revolutionary. And its insistence that no buildings could be built on floodplains was brilliant.

81 people died from Hurricane Hazel.

I haven't seen a single death attributed to this week's storm, which dropped more water than Hurricane Hazel.

Give Toronto planners some credit here.

Yeah, some basements and roads flooded.

That's going to happen every 60 years or so.

- Atomic Wedgie

Okay I'll give them credit for that. I don't give them any credit for a poor infrastructure, I'm talking about highways and roads here.

exact same situation.. been with a heavily cracked screen for probly longer maybe 8 months...

finally stopped working on friday... got a new one... bliss

I'll use a phone, and almost anything other type of tech for that matter, until it stops functioning.

I could only get it to charge to 18% and it die real quick and it said that my charger wasn't a supported accessory, which is bizzare

Plus if it was on the charger it would die faster that it charged if I was using it.

I was like ok, I think it's time for a new phone

ya for the government

I prefer to get time for time.

- zazzle

Yeah that would be okay as well. For now I'll take the pay though, just so busy that the days go by relatively fast. I've already been here for four hours and it's only felt like 2. Just gotta get through the next 8 and then I'm that much closer to the weekend!

It is an iPhone - cue the ARE YOU KIDDING ME, WHY DIDN'T YOU GET THE S4

S4 has things the iPhone doesn't, but I really just like the phone...I feel like Samsung is gaining more a fanboy crowd then the iPhone these days

doesn't the province look after the highways and the municipal looks after the roads.

The city has nothing to with the highways.

Any way its sliced the Leafs will have little to no wiggle room for trades or improvements with the cap next year. Let Gunner walk and keep Fraser. Gunner is absolutely replaceable, there are way more run of the mil guys like him. Save the 2 million bucks and have a little wiggle room.

Province looks after the 400 series highways, municipal looks after the rest such as DVP etc.

What do you do with the 2 million you save?

Find another serviceable decent defensemen?

Nope. No point. Have the space at the deadline maybe have some options. If they're gonna use gunner they might as well bring up blacker and let him develop.

Wasn't improving the defence the biggest need for them going into the offseason?

Subtracting from it would be a little disappointing I think.

- RickJames77

Ya I just gave my phone the spiderman upgrade last week. Not happy. Have 90 days to make a claim with my replacement plan (glad I got that now..only been 7 months so I'm gonna be $200 ahead on the replacement)

Stupid me decided to get the only phone you can't get an Otterbox case

Gunnar's the only damn in the entire organization that has any business playing with Phaneuf on the top pairing.

They're probably going to trade Liles for a bag of roasted peanuts. It won't be taking away from our defense because he almost never played last season anyway.

And what does our D look like without him? Even worse than it already is.

The guy can play reliably up and down all 3 pairings. For 2mil you cant seriously complain about it.

Our D is already in a bad state. You aren't going to get a Gunnar replacement for 1mil.

until you have an NHL ready player who is cheaper to replace him, its a risk. The D is questionable as it is, removing one of them that should be a decent cap hit that can play in the NHL is dumb imo. You move players when you have cheaper options who can step in and take thier spot.I dont see that yet
