I;m curious to see the line of:
Parros-White-Prust....
But I agree.
What i dislike is having so many center playing the wing, not giving a chance to the kids and of course our small top 9. - WaterBoy
i know very little of Parros but from what i've read, i don't expect him to contribute anything. i didn't expect MB to do much this summer given how tied his hands were contract-wise but i thought he would set out to re-build the fourth line into something that could contribute 8-10 minutes on a nightly basis if needed. Moen looks finished. he doesn't provide any energy. White has potential but you know he's going to be a healthy scratch here and there and he's going to take stupid penalties that get him benched for long stretches. and Prust will likely be moving around the lineup like he did last year. only way Prust plays on the 4th line is if all the top-9 are healthy and contributing, which will be rare, particularly given the size of the forward core that Bergevin is building. |

befuddling. I guess it can't hurt the power play but it really doesn't address their main need which is how to turn a nice little regular season team into a team that can play the type of hockey seen in the playoffs. |

To be fair, considering the ridiculous contracts Clarkson and Clowe signed.... I'm not sure he could have addressed that need during the summer.
There's always the trade route..... |

yeah. would have preferred they re-sign Ryder. cheaper, younger, more productive, bigger, always plays a full season. |

well that's why MB is the GM and not posting on Hockeybuzz. it's his job to address the team's glaring holes. it's very easy to say "well it's too hard to address those holes", but the good GMs manage to do it. |

I never had an issue with Ryder... he sucks defensivley but if he didn't he'd cost $6 million so you get what you get. |
