With whatever returns we get for Gionta and Desharnais - could go a long way replacing Moen and Blunden

I thought Gio was not going t be ready for the start of the season after his Bicep surgery?

I guess that given the current players I would go with something like:

Pacioretty-Plekanec-Briere
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher
Prust-Desharnais-Bourque
Moen-White-Parros

Then when Gio comes back you slide Bourque to left, Gio takes right and Prust on the 4th with Moen and Parros rotating.

With that said.....if Morrow could be acquired for a short term deal then I would like to see him on the left side of the Gally's

Although I must say I would do anyhting to see Desharnais dealt and Galchenyuk back at center.

Gio cannot be dealt until he's recvered and Desharnais has 4 years which nobody will take a chance on.

His future in the NHL will be on the wing.

Gallagher is a smurf on the 2nd line, Prust Eller and Bourque are on the third line, label them way you want, but they are all soft. Blunden is the useless one

And I am not a leaf fan

Looks like I left out Galcyincuk, put him on third line as soft and move soft Prust down to the fourth, replacing either useless or goon depending on the game.
