Well I mean to offer as in how much money to offer Eller. And what asking price (on Eller's part) does MB say "ummm no" and then explore the possibility of trading him. So I guess I did suggest a trade but as a last resort. - kev1586
Eller will be our best center this season... if they give him the powerplay time and the wingers to do it.
Book it. |

Nobody kept this a secret, Marty. We did, however, deliberately remove the Z from your keyboard. |

I think this is correct. But there's a few lineups where he's still being slotted to start the year as 3rd center. My argument was that he'll start the year as 2nd center to give him that chance. I think he earned it last season. If he fills that role, then Bergevin can move Plekanec because the organization will put their money on having Glachenyuk-Eller as their 1-2 punch down the middle for years to come. If he doesn't fill that role, then you sign him cheap as a third line center moving forward. |

The guy is lucky to get an offer, should take the first he gets. Shows how much he dislikes the Flames.. - l3ig_l2ecl
Makes me remember Darche when he received a 2-way offer from the Habs.
Maybe Begin doesn't want to play in the AHL and wants to see if a team is willing to offer him a one way contract. |
