Gregor mentioned offer sheeting Clifford. Apologies if this was discussed but interesting thought. I'd prefer a trade. Maybe rajala and a 4th gets him. |

Maybe. I dont like the offer sheet idea much tho. Would a simple D prospect like Gernat do the trick?Maybe Musil? Add in a 3rd with either? |

Hmmmmm, appears there is a Delorean dealership located in Crystal Lake Ill. So is this car there because of the popularity of it from the 80's, or cause there is a dealership in Jason's hometown? |

You know, for the pissing and moaning that fans do about Mac T's apparent lack of progress, I wonder how Buffalo fans feel? Other than adding a crusty old veteran defender, what in the (frank) have they done? |

I'd do musil + 3rd. Then sign him to a 2 year bridge deal.

Clifford nuge eberle
I think Clifford could pot 15 in our top 6. Can fight and hit. Exact player we need and he is 22. Has had a concussion or two I believe. |

Yup, if only they had made it till Back to the Future came out. How is that for free advertising of your vehicle. |

omark isn't nhl quality.
a very average open ice skater and not nearly big enough in nhl terms to be extremely effective at the possession/down low game he liked to employ during his time here.
small AND average skating aren't generally conducive to nhl success. even if you do have hands and some grit. not to say there are none that fit that mold and havent found success, but its rare. especially if your bread and butter is that down low game where you're battling with 6'2, 210 defenders.
he's a perfect fit in a euro league and I wish him success, but he's a non factor at this level. I don't think he was treated unfairly either. he was the least effective out of a group of other young, smaller, skilled forwards. so he was odd man out. that's the name of the game.
not even sure why we still talk about him. its like we see a few dangles or some brief flashes of skill and we cant forget about it. regardless that the majority of time where buddy was completely ineffective and nothing more than a minute eater. |

Yeah, if they put them out after Back to the Future, they would have done much better I'd imagine.
Damn, there were only 8,500 to 9,200 made, and they originally cost $25,000, but nobody bought them, so the price went down to $15,000... |

I think Omark was on pace for 40-45 points in his rookie year. When you factor in a couple years of experience and more talent around I think he could be a consistent 55 point player. I think that's why he is still brought up. I actually think if a team took a chance on him that has enough size in the lineup they'd be surprised but he needs top 6 minutes which therein lays the problem.
If the kid was 6'1 6'2 and 200 pounds with his possession skills he'd be quite the player even with his sub par skating.
I'm wondering if kekolainen in Columbus ever called up Mac t. You'd think with his euro scouts and his own scouting he would've seen Omark. Ditto Detroit and Bruner. Maybe it's attitude. But I think if you can put up 40 points on a crappy team as a 23 year old rookie swede, some potential is there.
