We'd be very lucky if Hemsky gets us a 2nd line player. He might, with another asset (prospect/draft pick) get us a 3rd line player.

I'd honestly be willing to trade our first round pick next year and a couple other assets for one if not two great players. Seems like one of our only pieces who have value who we could afford to move.

Yup very true, but before I continue I will point out that everyone is happy that we drafted Nurse... big tough d-man (compared to pronger, alright sure). Who knows if he'll ever develop, d-men are harder to predict. Just ask Tampa about Hedman, he was compared to Lidstrom.... oops.

We did however pass on the next Malkin in Nichushkin. This team is crying for big, tough wingers that can play hard and crash the net and at 6'4 over 200 lbs we pass??? MacT's second mistake. His first mistake...... Press Conference "Expect big bold moves".

Trade Gagner +whatever else to PHX for Hanzal. 50% career FO and plays hard, hits a ton and plus his name is Hanzal!!

I couldn't be happier with Nurse. I think he'll be great. You can kinda just tell, you know? And yeah, I hear you. We didn't take Nichushkin because he gave off a bad vibe when he didn't attend the combine. Plus he wouldn't have been able to help us this year anyways. Would've been able to next year. And until that time came, we could've just been working with what we had. But oh well, we gotta deal with it now haha.

Ya maybe the fanbase is irrational, maybe their not. But for a new GM who's had the job for 2 months; he shouldn't of stood in front of the media banging his chest like he was King Kong. This organization will go Nuclear soon unless they can get front office staff that know how to run a franchise.
