But other than Vanek, who is most likely gone, the Sabres don't have any of them that could be considered "elite", either because they've hit their ceiling, or have stunted their growth for one reason or another. Perhaps Jagr could unlock something. I think he could add value. I'm not clamoring for him, but I can see a fit.

with the "loss" of gerbe I can warm up to it. Id rather just try to find a few diamonds in the rough. If his work out program can help a few of the kids and they go all in for it then ok it can grow on me.

Washington Square is always a good one

Never had Pasquale's but seen it many of times. I know the owners of La Nova so kinda biased opinion but they have a great slice of pizza. I found a very underated one across from Depew HS in Grassos pizzeria. great pizza and wings. Elmos in amherst may have most underrated wings in buffalo. cajun-medium, honey bbq-hot. so good.

southtowns i usually stick with duffs though. its always a great choice

In the southtowns (Lackawanna/Boston) Bella is very good. Grasso's is just an ex employee of Bella that opened up and used all the same stuff, the menu is even the exact same. Man I'm freaking hungry now, looks like pizza for lunch and sausage for dinner.

**That Lakeside joint has some of the best fried chicken around.

Holy hell Kelly's Korner!!!!! I agree 100%. I haven't been there in a while so I forgot about them but good god their hot wings are worth going to jail for. Sometimes those local joints have the best food! Only downside if you go when its slow sometimes the bartenders are lazy and don't want to cook.

Gabriels gate has the best BBQ I've ever had!
