I really don't wanna switch yak, why would we? He is so good where he is.
- HouseArrest187

Stewart would be a great fit, offer sheet him for 6 mill 5 years and then watch the blues scramble.

Hearing habs are out on Jagr. That leaves Carolina and and Oil. Penner may be out anyway.

Isn't Jagr a RW?

Raymond is trash and when did Penner say he would never return? Because if that actually happened, that's absolutely a selling point on him not returning
- TheNugeIsHuge

It probably didn't..... Cloutier is a (frank)ing Zorch

Keep in mind Marchand produces offensively a lot more then those guys. Lead the B's in scoring.

There was never any spot for Jagr to begin with, unless Bergevin could trade someone :

what do we give in order to get??? I would think he is exactly what we need- if he is not a headcase in the locker room- further marchand delivers on the ice- actually likely exceeds expectations- something segin has yet to fill billing...
- saskoil21

Wonder how effective Marchand's agitation would be if he wasn't surrounded by big bodies that could stand up to the people he pisses off. Bet you he'd get one-shot concussed in game one of his career for the Oilers....

Marchand+Kelly+Caron for Eberle
- Double_A

I don't think I do that deal. You're giving up 2 roster players and a potential 3rd roster player this season for 1. Kelly had a rough year, but they don't have anyone lined up to take his defensive role at center.

I've read Bruins, Sabres, Hurricanes, Oilers, Flyers, n Canadiens n Jagr probably wants to go to a playoff team. So my money's on returning to PHI to play with giroux n make a playoff push or sign with BOS or PIT

Marchand is a valuable asset, but one-shot scorers like Eberle are rare and hard to get. The only thing going for Boston in this deal is that the Oil brutally need someone like Marchand right now.

If it wasn't for that I wouldn't even consider trading Ebs away

Marchand and Kelly apparently available.

Sounds like Marchand might be bit of an issue like Seguin, but what the hell happens when a division rival gets him?

Look at it this way, if we trade ebs for him we fill one hole by making another. No dice.

It was no slight on Eberle, I think he is a great player. Was looking at it more from the perspective the Bruins would be losing depth, which they pride themselves on.

You don't need a 3rd line winger. MacT signed R Hamilton at D Eakins request. You guys will love him, thought he'd be the favorite to replace M Frattin on our 3rd line. You guys will love him
