I think it would be a very bad move to bring Penner back. He plays a lazy , unmotivated game for most of the regular season and then finds a way to turn it up slightly come playoff time. He is not the kind of player the Oil need to have around to teach the young guys how to be professional and work hard on every shift. If the Oilers bring him back again it would remind me of a person who is attracted to the wrong kind of partner but keeps making the same mistake over and over again. IMO of course.
