you flip vanek to rw, park him in the slot and then he gets close to 50 goals

if you have a center and winger feeding him the puck

but if vanek is a 50 goal scorer, he is nothing like stamkos

31 points last season is impressive for him though...

I just don't see a future for him... we all know that Hodge and Grigo will be 1C and 2C which means Ennis goes back to Wing..... when Ennis was a winger he wasn't nearly as productive.

I just see him getting traded. WSH needs a 2C badly.

- JVince11

I don't either. But that's the problem. If you and I don't see a future for him, how many other teams do and would give up anything of value to acquire him.

Roy for MacKinnon to play with his father. You heard it here first folks.

FYI, my source is a subreddit which I can't disclose at this time.

do you really think pietrangelo is going to sign a contract beginning with the number 4 per year? if that was the case, i would trade the farm for him. it would be the best value in the league by far

+ Richards

I value the center position much higher than a scoring winger... and Richards is pretty darn good at center. He was also close to a PPG player in the playoffs until this past year (1 pt in 10 games).

to be fair, when ennis was on the wing and not producing staff was on the other side

I would not mind seeing him on a line with gringo and flynn

he would be a good 3 RW or 2RW on certain teams... he could even be a good 2C for another team... but he just doesn't fit with Buffalo's philosophy of being a big and hard to play against team.

Darcy must've moved this trade to tomorrow at 3pm... he just woke up from a bender and getting ready for the Black Keys tonight.

Stafford.....

If we are able to trade him but get stuck keeping Vanek and Miller I would consider this off season a success...

Ennis for Kuzentov!

Ill play in order:

King Henry
Pekka Rinne
Jonathan Quick
Rask but not sure how he would be not playing for the Bruins
Miller
Howard
Price
Luongo
Bobz (only cause of Vezina)
Anderson
Fleury
Crawford
Niemi
Ward
Smith (system goalie)
Halak Elliott
Backstrom

I'm done after that I don't have it to keep going

- Stripes77

Anyone not saying Quick is number 1 is a fool. The guy is the best goalie in the league right now, and i believe he would be just as good on any team he played for...i might be wrong but i think im right and thats all that matters

I wish we had a guy that would go balls to the wall down the stretch when we need him most...

instead.. we just pay oodles of money to guys that disappear.

Pietrangelo for 4-4.5??? Not even close. More like 6-6.5. Who is Buffalo going to give up for one of those young guys? It can't be Miller or Vanek because they're cap hit is too big.

Vanek has one of the best pair of hands in the league... however he's a very good role player. I think he deserves to be on a team/line with other talented playmakers, unlike here where he's paired with guys not at his skill level. Im worried about who we get back if we traded Vanek since he's one of the most consistent scorers on this team.

I think we could say that about at least one player on every team.

which is why we would take Halak/Elliot and Stewart/Oshie off your hands.. to create more cap space...

you guys have 14 forwards right now and like 5 or 6 Centers in Backes, Berglund, Roy, Lapierre, and another guy... You need a lot more money ot sign Piets and don't have the money to pay Stewart 5+M to be a RW when Tarasenko is pushing him for ice time.
