Yea I'm not overly high on him either. Paajarvi is actully a pretty good thought. Is he fast? I get pouliet from him tho
Edit: meaning he's bigger but hasn't done much offensively considering his draft position - Slimtj100
Blazing speed, good playmaker, and supposedly could snipe coming into his draft year. He has great tools, but hasn't put them together. Is he just one of those combine type guys, or is there something more there? He plays the left side, he's big, and maybe he blossoms somewhere else. Seems like a Ranger type of prospect, I'll say that much. |

Paajarvi and petry for DZ? - Slimtj100
I was thinking Boyle and some B level prospect for Paajarvi. He is the Oiler's equivalent of Dylan McIlrath at this point. Good prospect, but time is running out.
Edit: But, I sometimes convince myself of the potential of something turning out just right. In the perfect world, Kreider and Paajarvi would come into their own, and you would have three of the fastest skaters in the league playing the left side on bargain contracts. In the not so perfect world, Kreider and Paajarvi continue to struggle, and you get no production from that side of the ice. |

Maybe they take pyatt cause they're making out to close the gap for us. It does seem like the rumor matches teams up at least. |

Healy is a Leafs corporate clown; towing the company line. The Isles and Rangers both did well bringing their respective top shutdown defenseman in long term, at a fair market price. - MidnightMarauder
Hopefully if he's in either arena next season, we don't let him forget he wasn't even our favorite BACKUP goalie for either team.
Also remind him how easy it is to be photoshopped out of '94 Cup winning photo.

6:28PM: Zuccarello’s agent told the NY Post that they are still anticipating signing with the Rangers and are not yet looking at offers in Europe
Something is definetely cooking at the forward position if Zucc really is going to re-sign with the Rangers.
Again, Zucc signing doesn't look good for either Boyle (especially with the signing of Moore) or Pyatt, but maybe it's something bigger. Maybe the Rangers and Oilers were talking about Stepan for Yakupov. |

Paajarvi and petry for DZ? - Slimtj100
MacTavish laughs at Sather hysterically, pauses, laughs again, then hangs up
More like Paajarvi for MDZ Straight up. 1 underachiever for another. |

MZA's agent still believes he will sign with the Rangers. Can we worry above this year before next season? I still believe MDZ will be a Ranger and have a rebound campaign. |

How is DZ an underachiever compared to Paajarvi? Hes a defenseman and has almost double the points that Paajarvi has. |

MDZ has had his inconsistencies(sp). Both have the same ceiling. MDZ has gotten every chance to succeed and MPS hasnt.
Petry is the Oilers best 2 way dman. He's their 2nd best dman to JSchultz. Take it from a guy who watches ALOT of Oiler games and follows them as much as my fave team the Flyers.
Edmonton gets gangraped in that deal. Petry is way better than MDZ is right now. Then add in MPS who can still become a top 6 guy? LOL. No. |

Id rather have DZ than Paajarvi. I think DZ has been ok, sometimes great, sometimes bad. Under AV I see him taking off.
