I'm still shocked that Boston traded Seguin

Same. I thought it was a prank the first time I heard it.

Yep... It was a fun time.
Of course I like horror's that don't take themselves to seriously so I loved Cabin in the Woods as well.
Of course mixing two genre's I still pull out and watch Event Horizon.

- FlyersGrace

Cabin in the woods was awesome

But horror movies that take themselves seriously are the ones that end up being really scary. Parts of Sinister were like, emotionally scarring

Ha some actors are awesome like that. When Dicaprio cut his hand everyone off camera, including the director, were apparently freaking out and just like , and even after the cameras stopped rolling dicaprio remained in character. And that guy's never won an oscar
- JAKEw1234

His early years he made some horrible ones too... He's still working that off. But I agree he's grown on me as he's matured and shaken the teen idol dirt from his boots.

The pro scouts are going out and watching the kid play. Who do you think the good analysts are listening to, to form their opinions? Who do you think Bill talks to, to get his information on players?
- MJL

Let me say it another way. I trust the ISS scouting service more than the Flyers scouts, and maybe guys like McKenzie. Then based on those rankings, coupled with combine measurements etc, and other publicly available information, a reasonably knowledgeable poster on this site staying close to the "board" could do no worse.

The problem is the Flyers fall in love with certain profiles of player and choose those players over other more talented players, and it has not proven to be a successful strategy, especially after the first round.

If I had used the last 10 years as a benchmark instead of going back to 2000, the Flyers would not have one significant contribution coming from a player picked after the 1st round. That's pretty bad.

I think Morin sucks. By the way, I've got two tickets in the lower bowl, parking included. After the game I usually drive my BMW and meet with my buddy Mark Messier for beers after the game.

My 15 yr old son and his girlfriend wanted to go see the new Evil Dead which is my favourite franchise of all time. We had just watched all 3 in preparation but I went to see it first.

I didn't take them.

I dunno he was amazing in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (He was like 18 then), obviously Titanic is one of his most famous, and Gangs of New York was good too.

He was great in Blood Diamond, and of course Inception. But Blood Diamond might be my fav. Really really good actor, one of the best of his generation. Kind of amazing that was able to go from pretty boy to a reasonably convincing tough guy.

Dear god you poor man. If we don't have a horror movie at least once a week at my place then I go ballistic. Fearnet and Chiller are on auto-dial.
Of course so was Funimation before damn Verizon canned it... (insert explitive)

Renberg looks like he's still an active player.

I'm probably the only Flyers fan that had Renberg as their favorite player from the Legion of Doom line.

- JAKEw1234

Actually the very first one is scary. The second two were intentionally comedies.

The new one is mortifying. I have three dozen years of watching horror movies and there are only a couple scenes in all of them that were cringe worthy for me... The scene in the second Saw movie where they throw the girl into the pit of hypodermic needles and the scene in Cabin Fever when the girl is shaving her legs in the bath tub.

The new Evil Dead made me cringe for a good 45 minutes straight.

I highly recommend it if you're into that kinda thing. I loved it but it's totally over the top.

Actually he was snubbed of an oscar nomination from Django, he was amazing in that. and recently The Great Gatsby. The movie in general was not that good but Dicaprio was so good in it that it actually made the whole movie seem better. If Dicaprio wasn't the lead I think the movie would've been terrible.

How can you not be awesome next to Daniel Day Lewis. He could make a chimp look like a good actor.
And all I have to say is "The Beach" and I cringe.

I'd leave my wife for Bruce Campbell, dead serious. Favorite actor of all time.
The new Evil Dead was a damn good bloody movie. Nothing like the campy old ones, good in a completely different way.

Their idea of taking good two way forwards in the first round has worked for quite a while now.

I'm not into that either but that's not how I'd classify it at all. It nothing like Hostel and that genre. I have no tolerance for that crap.
