ANSWER THE QUESTION!

Somebody is being called Rinaldo 2.0? Guess it's that phenomenal diamond in the rough we got in the 3rd round?

- Giroux_Is_God

Yeah, Zach Goulabuster or whatever his name is.

Prediction: Emery beats up Streit, Vinny gives Streit a shot while he's down. Homer fling legdrop.

I know you will jump all over this, but based on the numbers, I half-believe that there are a bunch of posters and certainly someone like Bill that could likely do as well armed with ISS rankings and reading scouting reports. Call it MoneyPuck, but it suggests that the "gut" feel of our professional scouts might not be any better than a good analyst a la Theo Epstein.
- TheGreat28

The pro scouts are going out and watching the kid play. Who do you think the good analysts are listening to, to form their opinions? Who do you think Bill talks to, to get his information on players?

Imagine if it was in Montreal and the cops had the audacity to arrest one of their players.
- jmatchett383

I know right. I think there was another hockey brawl at kelly's bar also.

Made you? You mean let you.

That film had no business being as good as it was. It actually had a loosely-developed plot and some acting that was a notch above absolute camp. It made itself a legitimate 2 star movie when it should have been a Sci Fi channel original. That movie deserves some credit.

- jmatchett383

He kept telling us how good the book was and I kept pausing it to see how much time was left.

I usually have a high tolerance for those movies but there were only a couple memorable scenes or at least scenes I found at all interesting.

Clockwork Orange was definitely odd, but I had an odd sense of humor and viewed it as an over-the-top comedy.

I never read the book. Like I said, it's not going to win an award, but as far as I was concerned, it made itself a legitimate movie instead of a big joke.

Have you seen all the 5+ mil contracts they were throwing around in Free Agency?

If that doesn't get you laughing, look at the Iginla deal.

That's hysterical.

Apparently the scene where he sings "I'm singing in the rain" you know when he's... beating up that family... was unscripted. They did the scene without the singing and Malcolm McDowell thought it didn't feel right so they did it again and he just sung the song... I love famous movie moments that were unscripted.

I thought it took itself too seriously. He began glaring at me when I started predicting the ridiculous dialogue.

"This is what we need, Sliver!!!!"

"How much are we going to need?"

"ALL OF IT!!!!!!!"

Such as Viggo Mortensen breaking his foot kicking the orc helmet in The Two Towers and using that as motivation for his cry of anguish?
