Over the past 6 months I have seen Clouts come up with some wild rumors. Many have spurred on great conversations. However, I am disappointed when people begin to call Clouts all kind of names. If you don't like his blogs don't read them. If you disagree with his ideas explain why. Ie. When dubnyk has a 917 save percentage, he's weak and needs to be upgraded

When former olympic hero Ryan Miller has a 9.13 save percentage, It's the Fwd's and D's fault.

I still think Miller's a very good goalie but if you remove the name from the equation you're looking at a high priced goalie in the last year of his contract coming off a down year. Goalies don't have the same value they had 5 years ago.

That's not to say they aren't important, just that teams are less likely to break the bank for them. Hell 5 years ago Goalies going 1st round was no biggie, now if you bring up drafting a goalie in the 1st round, you'll get crucified.

Miller may be better than duby, but not that much better that warrants Edmonton giving up a 1st prospect roster player more cap and attitude. The combination of all that together makes Dubnyk a better option for Edmonton at this point in time. Dubnyk is definitely top 3 or 5 under appreciated goalies in the league. And his lack of ego and need for attention creates no distraction like Miller could/would
