Piss poor management on Winnipegs part letting Burmistrov bolt to the KHL. There are a lot of teams that wouldve loved to get him. I'd take him here. On our 3rd line with Paajarvi and Gordon he'd look awesome. We might actually get some secondary scoring for once.

Dubnyk had the tools to become a solid 2nd tier number one goalie. What I mean is that he'll never be elite/win a Vezina, But can definitely become someone like Jimmy Howard/Corey Crawford/Antii Neimi/etc and have success as long as the team in front of him is good. When all the number one picks start playing to their potential you guys will have a team capable of the same success as Chicago.

Hall for Piets is a pretty good hockey trade for both sides...

I don't think there was much of a market for him after it was made public that he didn't get a long with Noel.

Throw in the constant KHL rumors, and your better off holding onto his rights. Maybe he comes back to the NHL for a new team in a year or two or goes back to Winnipeg if Noel is fired.
