A message from his Twitter account, @tylerseguin92, appeared on Saturday night that read, "Only steers and queers in Texas, and I'm not a cow."

The message, which is adapts a line from the film "Full Metal Jacket," was deleted shortly after it was published.

Later in the evening, an apology appeared from @tylerseguin92, reading, "Twitter hacking has to stop. My apologies."

The tweets appeared just days after Seguin was acquired by the Stars in a trade from the Boston Bruins.

"In no way, shape or form does the Dallas Stars organization condone or agree with the message that was sent out through Tyler Seguin's Twitter feed last night." read the team's statement.

"We've addressed the issue directly with Tyler and we'll continue to work on educating our players regarding the importance of their conduct on all forms of social media."

Seguin also apologized earlier this year for another controversial tweet that was sent from same Twitter account back in April.

On Sunday, he added he would be taking some time off the social media site.

"After repeated attempts by "hackers" to try to damage my reputation I have decided to shut down my twitter account for a while," he tweeted.

They were at the Merchantman. Staying accross the street at the Delta. Some ventured down Victoria Row. Then had the day out near Stanley Bridge (where Dion has a house). Couple of my buddys worked the bar at the wedding.

Bozak and Kessel are inseperable. Komisarek is an absolute beauty. Nonis and Burke were like the parents. Wayne Primeau is a beaut as well. Interestingly, he said Da Costa was there (from Ottawa) not sure if Dion was saying sorry for smashing him. Schenn was here. Kessel was drinking Caesers all day. Woman. Haha

P.S. Bozak finally got a hair cut.

We need to sign Fraser, give him his one way contract he has earned it. Lead the team in +/- and second after Komarov for hits. Guy is a warrior and he terrorizes the opposing teams forwards. 6'4, 220pounds, this guy is who Luke Schenn was supposed to become. He is our best stay at home defense man by far.

Frazer wants in the 1.25-1.5 range though and I dont think the Leafs will pay him more than 800-1M
