Don Meehan represents Phil Kessel and Dion Phaneuf

Oh yes, I use to get chased around the yard with a wooden spoon, rake, belt or whatever was handy if I was late coming home it didn't matter to them if I was 5 miles from my home with friends, had to be on time for dinner. lol.

Is there a cutoff day that the RFA's need to be signed by? DO they then become UFA's if they have not been signed by that day?

Of interest is the fact that Bozak has only played 238 games, which is roughly three full regular season’s worth of hockey. I bring this up because the fourth season is usually a player’s big breakout season; according to this 2012 article, “In the fourth year, 24 percent of players see an increase in the offensive numbers by 25 percent.”

Does it take age into account, I would imagine that is for 18 to 20 years old that would be around 22 to 24 years old on the fourth year, interesting nonetheless.

I think Bozak will be fired up this season and really have a strong year for us.

No it doesn't, it is based strictly on their 4th year in the NHL. JVR fell into that category last year.

Players are generally appreciative of big contracts, and work harder once they've secured them.

A lot of guys also have a down year after signing a big contract so we'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

Or try to work too hard to prove their contracts and fail. This will be an interesting year for Bozak and the Leafs methinks.
