Can I ask some questions .
1) why has Darcy been given so many chances? He was a guy who couldn't make it nhl,what was he going to do,go back to Saskatoon to shovel snow. This is the problem,you don't need a degree for a gm job. As and owner how can you not see from his body of work,that he is inept. His first 4 years he had the greatest goalie ever.. Since they have missed playoffs 60 % of time. He doesn't have a family pedigree or anything to be able to be in this job this long for being inept.
2) does he understand how you build a hockey winner. Your highest paid player has never played with o e good center his entire career here.you don't need a high priced goalie to win. You need 2 excellent defenseman ,two good defenseman and two steady mistake free d men. Then why did we use our first two picks on defenseman. Would you rather risto and jp computer who most likely will never play in nhl or line holm and you still would of had the other damn and 16.. We have myers,psyk,mcnabb,weber,ehrhoff,McCabe why do u draft these two,just dumb. You have no goal scoring..hey Darcy....Chicago spent 2.8million on goalies and used the extra 5 mill that u pay on goalies to get more great forwards.

Just to piggyback on this. How pathetic is it that we have to bring in a certain vet to help our "future franchise" player find his game again?
The fact that Myers needs his hand held is upsetting. I do understand that defenseman are hard to develope (ie Campbell) but are the kid gloves really necessary?

Both of those guys have college degrees for what it's worth. Both also played a very high level of hockey as well. I think Buffalo1000 is making the point that Darcy is a (frank)ing idiot/moron/tool, and that all he is really cut out for is shoveling snow back in bum(frank) nowhere.
