Buffalo1000 said that he guaranteed Tallinder was coming back to Buffalo today.

"Myers has played like crap since Tallinder left town".

"Tallinder was the best thing that ever happened to Myers".

I've seen this a lot too. It's interesting because Myers' career possession #s are 50%, and 50.1% w/ Henrik Tallinder exclusively. We're talking hairsplitting difference.

The best pairmate for Myers his entire career was Sekera, getting about 54% of possession together in 760+ ES TOI.

don't get me wrong, tallinder's OK. i just wonder where the myers/tallinder thing came from. they were decent together, but nothing like myers/sekera.

signing jagr was the key for them to finalize the St Louis blues trade. Jagr will come in and mentor the youth this team will be putting in the lineup next year.

Oshie 1st Jake Allen and Max Gardiner to Buffalo for Stafford and Vanek (we retain 50% of Vaneks hit)

That's such an awful trade honestly for the blues, Giving up Oshie Allen and a first for Vanek and some overpaid trash is way too much.

Fair I'd say:
Stl: Berglund, first, low to mid prospect (not even close to Allen)
Buf: Vanek (they figure out how much salary is retained, if any)

To me its a precursor to another trade too many D and the sabres want to let a lot of these young kids play. Ruhwedel,McNabb and Ristolainen are NHL d-men something else is coming.
