Buffalo did talk to Anaheim about Bobby Ryan trade over a week ago. Anaheim wanted the 8th pick and Ennis and McNabb. Darcy said no. Anaheim moved onto fielding him to other teams. If Darcy offered 2014 pick the offer would have obviously changed a bit but Ennis was the one Anaheim wanted to replace him.

Ennis, McNabb, and the 16th I would have done. That's probably close to what they got from Ottawa. Ennis is a little more NHL ready than Silfverberg but the Ottawa 1st next season will probably be low 20s.
