Are you gonna win with a player is a huge measurement. Team needs comes into play way more than people realize which is why they don't have a problem signing the proper free agents to big dollars. Gamble? Yep.

Yup, can't just look at the individual alone. Need to believe that player is going to help the team systems you're trying to implement.
