Mainly, its a cost/energy saving thing.

For example, 2% of the worlds energy goes into making ammonia (used in fertilizer, amongst other things). Thats because you need to heat to 350-550°C and pressure to 200x atmospeheric pressure to make the reaction happen... if it could happen at 25°C and atmospheric pressure you would literally save billions of dollars per month, not to mention the energy savingas.

And thats just one example.


And to put the pressure into context, an explosion of 7x atmospheric pressure would travel at over 1000 miles per hour...

I weighed that much once...

No unfortunatley I don't make enough. If I did, she wouldn't have to work but we need two incomes for our lifestyle, so she needs to work.

The three Canadian teams are basically the bubble teams. There will be two spots available for the three of them.

Montreal grabbing Parros was bloody brilliant and Briere is a wild card.

Ottawa absolutely raped Anaheim for Bobby Ryan, and I know they sent some "promising young prospects blahblahblah..." but they got the best player and Bobby Ryan will always be better than anything they sent.

I honestly don't get this stuff at times. Using the compliance buyout on Crapasarek was short sighted. Should have used them on Grabovski and Liles.

Can't make the case for trading Liles without likely having eat some or a bunch of his CAP hit... so it would have been better to conventionally take the 1.5M per year hit for two years with Crapasarek and compliance Liles. Would have saved 2.2M against the CAP, and simultaneously cleared the log jam on the D side.

Gardiner is OR SHOULD be playing ahead of Liles period.

Gunnarson and Fraser as the two other left side D. Phaneuf and Franson top 2 right side, and let Kostka, Blacker and Holzer battle for the 5-6 position on the right side.

His start with Carlyle wasn't great either. Really didn't use his size at all and didn't look at all confident. Enter Mark Fraser to allow Franson to play his game and play with confidence even using the body. IMO not enough gets said about this. Sign Fraser.

by the time Carlyle arrived in Toronto, Wilson had twisted Schenn's neck in so many different directions - kid didn't know if he was coming or going. Shame. Hope he settles and finds his game again in Philly.

Your Isles already are awesome & that's without elite goaltending. If u guys get Miller or even Thomas, seriously u guys would likely finish among the top 4 spots in the East with a chance to at least challenge for the top spot. I think the Isles are on the brink of something great. Mabie just an elite goalie away from being a serious contender.
