They had a great run...Lidstrom pretty much played the whole game and getting a 6th and 7th round draft pick to be your best players...I would say there has to be some luck in there...or the other 29 teams are just (frank)ing complete morons.

Because hes the only (frank)ing person that goes to the net and is smart, where he gets majority of his goals. Has a good shot but rarely uses it, big body winger, in playoffs he went beast mode hitting everyone. So pipe down

EDIT: and hes clutch in playoffs.

listen, i am no fan of the bozak signing but.. its become moot.

bozak will continue to centre kessel and jvr

i really like the idea of coupling clarkson's grit with kadri's talent.. they could be a dangerous duo.. add lupul on the wing.. look out.. thats a well rounded line

while the top line will have JVR as their net presence, kessel as the major threat and bozak doing the intangibles work.

if everyone sticks to their roles they will be a solid top 6

Exactly. Really like those two lines, and both should produce.
I like having two balanced scoring lines and then a checking line.
Are we pretty sure Mcclement is going to be the third line wing? Or was he going to be 4C? If he is 3rd line winger, who is our 4C colbourne?

1 more year would have taken him to UFA... and no way he signs for more than 3 yrs at that price when he considers himself a soon to be #1.

Franson probably wants term. would think we can get him at a better price than Liles for 4 yrs. (though prolly not much better)

18 goals last year. 2 less than Kessel. and he's good on the PK.

and he's only 24 yrs old... still a lot of room to improve with a lot of very good tools.

Probably yeah you're right no point in rushing bernier with money, we don't know how he will turn out or if he is better than reimer.

With Franson long term for sure probably 3.25-3.5 per? for 6 years? to like a 20-21M dollar deal?
