Well from what I remember didn't all of you think Brennan would be our future QB lol what a joke that guy was. Ellerby too lol. Crazy how right I've been. It's no different w Bjugstad, he's nothing special. Gudbranson is another guy that needs to be criticized. Def not worth 3rd overall.
- floridapanthers4ev

Ellerby sucks. I loved and still love Brennan. Def not someone we should have let go so easily. Mark my words, he will have a fine season.

Defensemen take a while to develop. Gudbranson has to grow into his size and get used to the NHL game. He has steadily improved and will continue to do so.

We acquired Regin. Nough' said

Improved? he took a step back last year because he fuccked the team in the off season wake boarding. True character guys we got here!! He gets beat on every play, he's a dman of the 90's. It's a different game now, he's a bum.

Potential FA signings i would want the Panthers to consider: Ryan Whitney, Nathan Gerbe, Matt Halischuk,Mason Raymond, Douglas Murray, Jonathon Blum, Brad Boyes. ...Thoughts on us maybe signing any of these guys???

The guys I kind of thought of was Boyes, Gerbe, Blum, Antropov. I think they would be good pick ups some long and some short term.

Brad Boyes would be the only one worth signing.

This artilce is sorta funny really.

If Weiss had wanted to stay for 5m/year Florida would have done it in a heartbeat.

And sure you are probably right, Weiss is NOT a 5m a year guy... but he's not far from it either. I sort of look at Weiss as an untapped potential. If an average centre like Filp, can have a 60 point season in Detroit, what do you suppose a very good center like Weiss could do?

If he is with Z and/or Alfie he will be putting up numbers that will make Talons head spin.

Well it's time for the annual roster chart. Shall we:

Fleischman/Barkov/Huberdeau
Bergenheim/Matthias/Versteeg
Upshall/Shore/Kopecky
Crabb/Goc/Winchester (Selleck, Butler, Howden)

Campbell/Kulikov
Gudbranson/Jovo
Weaver/Robak
Petrovic/Mottau

Marky
Clem

This is how we're going to line it up as of right now. It's not....... that........ bad. Listening to Tallon's conference call, it seems as though Jovo is going to be ready to go and will be healthy, so that is why I have him in the line up.

Tallon is REALLY hoping Matthias steps up and has a career year, and so am I. He better.

Goaltending in my opinion still needs to be addressed. We also could use a second line left winger and a veteran D.

It's not horrible. It really isn't.. We have some decent depth. But we are going to be facing some powerhouses in our new division. I hope we're ready.

Is Barkov going to play in the NHL this season? I would think he is 2 years away, no?

He's been playing against men since he was 16 I believe...he should be able to make the jump from Finland.

Apparently, on a conference call yesterday, Weiss took a shot at the organization on his way out the door stating that it was a no branier to go to Detroit with a culture of winning as opposed to staying with a team that's been to the playoffs once in the last decade. Yes, it's all true, but why say it? If you could be a millionaire and live in Parkland for 10 years, have kids and fans love you where you go. He was always a fan favorite, no one booed the shyt out of him like they did the lazy Horton..Just think it was unneccessary, and frankly, bush-league. Hey Stephen, ya leave here a millionaire...boo freakin' hoo Bro.

Barkov will be the best player from this year's draft.

Mark my words.

What's wrong with the truth? Someone has to say it. It's like half this fanbase wants to ignore what a joke this organization has been. I think the season ticket holders are idiots for keeping their tickets. What has ownership done to improve this team over the last 13 years??? NOTHING!

What's wrong with it? Class?

Maybe some disrespect to the "fanbase" as well.

How are Panthers season ticket holders idiots? You're now venturing away from hockey and insulting the people who cheer for this team. I am from NJ and I am a Devils fan. I moved here in 2000 and have cheered for the Panthers (unless they play the Devils) since I bought season tickets in 2005. They have been very rough years for fans to endure. But saying they are idiots for having season tickets is uncalled for. Am I an idiot too? I love this sport. No matter where I live I would need to be near some kind of hockey and I would have season tickets for it. That make me an idiot? If I lived in NJ and they went through this kind of rough stretch I wouldn't abandon my team just cause they don't win. You can say your a fan or whatever but at the end of the day you care about banners. All fans should, it is what we strive for in this game. But they also care about the logo, the players, the other fans, the community. They care about the team as a whole, win or lose they show up. It is easy to hop on and take a ride when the team is winning but to defend your choice of being a fan when they are down is what differs a real fan from some nobody. And they shouldn't have to defend themselves to other Panthers fans. Your sir make me sick. You shouldn't even be allowed to call yourself a fan of this sport let alone a team with such dedicated fans, rain or shine.

Spending your money on a product that obviously doesn't want to improve or win is pretty stupid to me.

Barkov is arguably the most NHL ready prospect out of that draft.

What he actually said was he was coming from a franchise who hasn't made the playoffs to a franchise with a culture of winning. He meant no disrespect (I heard the conference call). The disrespect came from Keaton Ellerby last season after he was traded. We had lost.. big time.. one game, and he tweeted something like "nice night down in Florida, sad I was traded.. not". He deleted the tweet right after. Weiss is nothing but class, I wish him the best. I still remember the day he gave me the hat right off his head, signed it, the 8 cards I had, and then bought me a coke at Incredible Ice.

You're 100% wrong. His wake boarding accident was stupid, no doubt. But he's a kid, he learned from it. You can bet the organization made sure it would never happen again. Gudbranson is going to be a defensive cornerstone for this team. He doesn't get beat every play lol.. he does get beat, though. But so does Chara. And Weber. And Pronger. Lindstrom did a few times. Murphy. Potvin... expecting 100% success will result in 100% failure.

Whitney is too slow, Gerbe too small.. I don't dislike Halischuk, but we have enough 3rd line guys. Mason Raymond I would sign for sure. Murray is too slow. Blum I would sign. Boyes for sure.

That's cool.. just wait until he turns the puck over and then stops skating. It'll lead to a few goals against. Love the guy, but his ethic was always in question here.

Well you enjoy spending your money on whatever you. I'll spend my money on what I like. And when you decide to be a true fan for your team and not a whiny runt who can't stand by them through thick and thin. If you can't be there for them at their worst, don't bother coming back when they are better.
