I think we will be fine with a lack of depth this year because a lot of other teams are going to have the same problem with the cap dropping.

You can get by with a weak bottom 6 up to the dealine. Accrue cap space and add who you can at the deadline

Like? The new CBA is designed to spread the wealth. They usually do for the first few years until the cap rises/teams find a way around. Its pretty fun to follow

Boston kept their team intact. leafs, habs made their teams a little better. Wings will also be an interesting team now that they're in the east.

This bottom 6 right now just lacks any real speed. I'm just hoping to see the pens get that spark plug of a player in the bottom 6

Shero has signed a couple of clunkers in his day, but Glass is pretty close to the top. He's just not a good player.

Bruins will be good. To say they kept their team intact is questionable. Leafs are debatably worse. Habs are the Habs. Also all three of those teams are none we need to worry about with realignment.

How did the Bruins keep their team intact. They lost Horton and Ference. And replaced Horton with Iginla that we can attest isn't the same as he was 4 years ago never mind 10 years ago.

Also added eriksson for seguin which will help ther top 6. They lost ference, but with bartkowsi and krug stepping up then it's ok. Iggy just replaced jagr if anything. Plus if/when they put savard on LTIR they will have 10 mil in cap space to do more if they want. Still have to sign Rask, but they have room for 1 or 2 more moves

I didn't like to see Iggy going to Boston...he's still a good player if put in the right position.

I hope Morrow can still be had for cheap. He's a class act that just need to work on his footspeed a bit.

Bartowski is not a Ference replacement. Iginla is a good Jagr sub.....older vet with questionable contribution. Not a worry.
