He's worth a first and eveyone thought we had a good draft...for the future...ot nowThey've been wanting him fo a long time and fell asleep at the wheel. We're absolutly gonna get killed this season esprcially with this new realignment. Everyone else is getting much betterand us?.....pathetic...just kids and no leadership...coaching or otherwise

So how do you suck with Miller in net? He will steal at least 10 games by himself. If we really want a top 3 pick then you can't have Ryan Miller in net. And on the contrary why in the hell would Miller want to play for a team who's goal is to obtain a top 3 pick?

Ryan is different... He is very young, top line forward, and someone you can build around. He also would help replace Vaneks scoring when Vanek walks/gets traded.

I'm not at all upset we didn't sign any of the bigger names. F overpaying them for a long time.

I like Bobby Ryan, but Bobby Ryan isnt a franchise player. Hes a very good complimentary piece, but not one you go and pay that steep of a price for when hes not going to be the difference between a very good team and a Stanley Cup team

Sens gave up ~grigo and girg and a first, and on buffalo that first is looking to be sub five.

I wouldn't give that up for bobby Ryan, especially when we aren't in a position to be seriously competitive for at least 3 years.

Lets say we get the 1st overall and Edm wants it really bad so they can get Ekblad. Would you except there 1st "around 8-13", Hopkins, and Gagner "or some other roster player thats younger"?
