However, this insanity to not move Miller unless the deal is a complete fleece could drive a crazy man sane. If he walks for nothing, I am going to lose my friggin' mind! If the trades out there do not help the Sabres improve for the future, then you cannot make the deal--not with an asset of Miller's caliber. Doing so is just as useful as letting Miller walk for nothing.

Until we find out that Darcy actually passed up on some offer that was legitimately good for the Sabres, I'm not going to pass judgment. I'd much rather wait with Miller than see Darcy get hosed just because we arbitrarily decided Miller had to be gone before the season starts.

It's been a rebuild or retool since 06, we are going noplace with Darcy in charge, you think the progress is bring made and that is OK I understand however, this team speaks louder.

This year we needed the top 3 pick. Mack or drouin would have been perfect.

89, the point of this season is TO SUCK. Theyve embraced and this is proof.

There not bettering it this year. they already said it. Its about letting kids grow and getting good draft picks.

Trading 3 top prospects for Bobby Ryan spits in the face of all of that. Thats a move you make when your Ottawa, where you have to 1. save fa in the NHLce in the wake of the biggest loss in franchise history, and 2. you have the pieces to do it and he helps restore you to what you were.

Id love Ryan here, but it just wasnt going to happen. This was clearly a case of nepotism at its finest in the NHL
