I have been saying for the last 2 years, Mason will be a Flame when the Canucks move on from him. He is a very frustrating player but so talented. The Canucks were very patient with him over the years but he is what he is, despite his apparent potential, a 15 to 20 goal scoring support player who adds 2-way speed and puck possession and always leaves you wanting more because of his speed and hands. He has a heart for Calgary, he trains there and has family in the area, he probably cheered for them as a kid. He had his best games against Calgary over the years, maybe the flaming "C" will give him inspiration. |
