I think we may see a few teams with only 21-22 players on the roster at any time this year, which is another way to circumvent cap. ( you actually only need 20 ) It won't give many options for lineup changes without people being called up and sent down which means young guys will be shuffled around like never before.

You can call up / send down players (those not requiring waivers) as often as you like, airfare and accommodation do not count against the cap. Call a guy up for a game and send him home again right after so he's only on the books for one day.

I was a Gillis fan, and I HATED that trade. But I also was a fan of Kassian even before the trade was made.

So am I one of these "non sheep" or a "Gillis knows best"?

Or can we just get rid of the categories and labels all together, ffs...?

Lets be clear here.... its not that people are sick of hearing Hodgson. They are sick of the one guy who doesnt eat the bullpoop being handed out here. I disagree and then it's "stop bringing up Cody" even though I'm only responding. It is because I dont follow the party line.


How many Cody posts would have I made today if eveyone didnt join in and actually keep it alive? There is a group right now who like me wont stop the discussion yet those same people think only one person is pushing the topic. All I have been doing today is either answering the comments directed at me or quoted the original posts on the subject before I arrived. The Drama is barely mine at all.... it's how many people get wound up when I'm involved simply because I stand off the wagon. Even if its a mild comment on the subject, people like Chompsey.... *like he just admitted*, instigate to watch what he hopes will be a meltdown. Of couse I don't see a single person frowning on that....the person here to mostly start poop.

No one hates being reminded that they spent a year or two telling someone they are wrong about their opinion just to see later that they were in fact wrong eh Micah? People can be incredibly hypocritical in this manner. They are alright telling people they are wrong but it very "off putting" to find out its the other way around.

I have probably set the record for being told he's wrong on here so really it fits more the other way around in my case. I disagree often but how many poop storms has my honesty brought on in this forum over the years? Booner is always wrong no matter what the outcome is.... even when he's right, he's wrong for pointing it out.

Just didn't like you pulling me into the conversation because I've made a point to stay away from the Hodgson discussion (except for some occasional praise) for this reason exactly.

And I don't think I'm the main culprit in regards to what you accused me of in the first place.

The worst I've ever said is that I'm open to the idea that there may have been **some** type of character issue on Hodgson's (or family/representation's) part.

Got to say, I'm pretty happy with how today went. No one was traded for a bundle of sticks, no learning challenged contracts were given out (or at least accepted) by the Canucks, a couple of needs were addressed. All in all, a good day.

I mean, I can remember you claiming I hate Kassian just because I dont like the trade and I didnt praise things that for the most part havent come to be or even close to what we were sold by Gillis. People never think pulling stuff like that is putting fuel on a fire? I know you apologized but everyone washing their hands of the topic getting crazy is not fair at all. Chompsey just did it to me in the last blog.... to point it only gets crazy when I'm involved may be true.... but maybe people should pay attention to how and address it if they truly care so much.

For the record and in spite of what the instigators say, I've never fully denied any character issues. I've only ever pointed it all out as unproven hearsay. Overnight, after Gillis made those comments, everyone became an expert on his poor character all of a sudden even though we now all agree on who the bumhole was behind the bench.... the party line remains the same.
