especially since the team that signed him to that signed elias to an awful contract the day before and is in huge financial trouble. Silly stuff. I'll take the Isles moves, minor deals but all 1 year.

This is weird, sitting back and watching other teams make mistakes. I'm sure our GM would be too if he had cap space. I'm happy the cap went down right now.

This is why the Canucks' cap situation wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. Because our top players are already locked up. Don't have to rely on overpaying free agents.
