This team will finally have some ELCs contributing, and that will make a world of difference going forward.

Not gonna happen - don't mean to be a wanker but there is home-town discount and then there is this thing called reality. I think the Sedins will command similar money as they are currently getting (I think the absolute lowest they would go (for one year, that is) would be around $5.5 per).

Since they aren't 35+, it'd be beneficial for both sides.

7million for the first four years, and 3.5 million for last 4 = 5.25 AVG over 8 years.

Point is moot anyway, only 35+ can sign contract with performance bonus built in (and ELC). Sedin's won't qualify for that on their next contract.
