NVM, has to be a joke...
You are joking, right?
Zanon might not get an NHL contract. He is one of the worst players in the league. - Fosco
Murray/Zanon = Murzyn? Think about it |

Yup...
Probably the best 4th liner they've had in well over a decade... - Fosco
Maybe MG felt that Lapiere was an AV guy and his "antics" were the wrong direction? |

That was meant for both...
Zanon is worth about 850k.. and I would do Murray at about 2 million. Canucks could use some physicality. |

It could have been Lappy's choice to sign elsewhere he had about 6 offers one of that maybe from the Canucks. |

And Gillis could've got a pretty good offense player in Ryan for Edler. One who has scored in this league but no he shyt the bed again. Now we may not even have a goalie. - CanUSA17
Big assumption Anaheim would trade Ryan in division for Edler. |

And third line center open for one of our 4 young centers.Horvat Gaunce Lain or Shinkaruk.
Sounds like JS is odd man out. |

True enough. Perhaps Lappy was tired of all the drama in Vancouver |

I heard him say "Richardson" third line C or whatever position he wins... Sounds like its his to lose. Who knows.
I'm happy they didn't do anything stupid today, there is going to be some serious buyers remorse in the coming months. |

A lot of teams were after Ryan for quite some time. Leafs, Philly and eventually the Sens. They gave up some real talent in Silferberg and that 1st rounder. Not sure if the canucks were ever in on him and if they were I dont think just Edler would have got it done. |

Probably some depth moves, they still need a number of players to play in the AHL. |

Paterson said 3 rd line C Gillis said he could move up or down but did not say he was going to put Richardson there. |

Some you hockey gurus that we have in here please answer this question. We have essentially in my opinion 10 guys on hometown discounts. Or so we think.
Sedin
Sedin
Edler
Bieksa
Hamhuis
Garrison
Lu
Kesler
Burrows
Higgins ?? (a stretch)
Yet we have holes all throughout our lineup and I cant see this team getting out of the 1st round.
So really are these guys really on home town discounts or just over paid. |

Interesting draft review: http://www.hockeysfuture....-draft-review/#more-93137
"Shinkaruk is a defenseman’s nightmare. He is quick, forechecks hard, and has excellent hand-eye coordination. What he lacks in size he more than compensates for with hard work and determination. Willing to take a hit to make a play, or fight to get to an open piece of ice, Shinkaruk blends a lot of hockey sense with pure offensive talent and drive".

Nope. Iggysbff who as he tells us is praised by flames players for his superior hockey knowledge said Shink fell due to weak skating and a bad attitude. |

Nice to see things don't change. Youre still the biggest (frank)ing douche around.
I've seen Shinkaruk play many times and I think he's a great player. All I passed on was some things I heard as to why he fell in the draft. Keep being a wiener though
You do it so well. |

If he knew anything good about hockey to teach the kids. Then the kids would know more then half the flames organization |

I don't understand these rumors. Are we talking about NSH's Jonathon Blum, a former first round pick at age 24?
If so why the hell would NSH let him go? |
