Needs is a strong word.

I'd just like to see Jonas in net for a year, and not have the distractions of a competitive but underachieving, self-centered diva with one year left on a six-million $$ contract in a locker room full of impressionable young 'uns who are our new "core".

As to all the people congratulating Darcy on not spending stupid bucks, I think it's a lot more likely that many of the players already signed have received and turned down similar $/term to play in buffalo
