true... once those dominoes have settled... we will know the trade market.

More teams know that this UFA pool is shallow and that hte trade route is the way to go to truly improve the top of your team.

Plus teams will be up against the cap. If Buffalo will keep cap space on Vanek, they should get a decent haul for him. And they can wait with Vanek, someone will give decent assets for him at the deadline if not now.

It's not hard to see why Pominville got the package he got and why Miller won't. At this point, you guys are pretty much Luongo'ing him.

This is ridiculous. Miller will have value before or on the deadline regardless of what happens today. All it takes is one injury or one unexpected contending team to give him value. People are willing to take a risk on one of these average goalies now, when everyone in the league is tied for first place.

Does the Islanders' Nabby signing all the sudden make them a serious contender? No. Does Philly finally have it's goaltending situation figured out with Mason/Emery? Hell no. Do the Caps still have no talent between the pipes? Absolutely. There will be a market for Miller at some point this season.

I never said he didn't have value, or that there won't be a market. But, at this point, you fans, are Luongo'ing him. And to that guy who compared the situations...no, that jas nothing to do with fans grossly overvaluing him.

Miller plays with PURPOSE during OLYMPIC year, I know we all want him gone, BUT you don't TRADE low! You trade HIGH and MILLER will DELIVER this year in a CONTRACT + OLYMPIC Year! Count on it! Vanek will PULL a MAJOR return now or during season.......enough with all this hate already.....its so beating a dead horse!

I wouldn't... Let them play in the AHL a little more. We can always demote him to the 4th line once Girgensons or Larsson is ready. Plus both play wing.
