Instead we will go after old vetern(36) like Cullen because he has leadership skills....please. That would be just another waste of a roster spot like Kaleta and Lenio.

Really, so, Paul Gaustad is worth a first, but a potential franchise goaltender isn't? Darcy overvalues his players, but people on this board seriously undervalue them.

Good grief, the Sabres are nowhere near the cap. They can afford to retain half of Miller's salary and cap hit. That Gaustad story is a rumor, and in the end, they paid a 1st rd pick for a 3rd line center. Nobody forced them to do that.

true... once those dominoes have settled... we will know the trade market.

More teams know that this UFA pool is shallow and that hte trade route is the way to go to truly improve the top of your team.
