i think we'll be okay. we were a mess last season from start to finish. we're a much better team than what we looked like last season.

let's not forget we also made it to the 2nd round. it's not like we missed the playoffs or got swept in round 1.

Throw last years results out the window with the new realignment tho.

Rangers sign Benoit Pouliot, nice fall back after missing out on Maxim Lapierre

Checking now, dont see a dollar ammount yet, but only one year. Another good depth move.

Agreed. They're basicly the same player. Boyles better on faceoffs though

@NYP_Brooksie: Three signings leave Rangers with very little wiggle room regarding Group II's. Would be badly damaged by offer sheet to McDonagh/Stepan.

Boyle is not going anywhere. This move is to replace Asham Powe depth. Asham Powe and Pyatt are the odd guys out. I think we are looking at Bottom six of Boyle, Poulliot, Dorsett, Brassard, Zuccarello, Miller. That's not a bad mix of size, skill, grit on the bottom 6. Moore is insurance.

Is pouliet fast? Or just faster then Boyle?

I mean we got asham -powe -pyatt -Boyle -Moore -pouliet- Dorsett- fast - miller-Lindberg-kristo all bottom 6 possibly? That's 11 guys

Depth is a good thing, will allow Kristo, Lindberg, and Fast to play in the AHL to develop

I doubt it. He averaged a point per game basically after the trade. Plus with Richards a huge question mark you can't afford to move him.

Yeah, I think there are a few question players on wing. Young, unsure how they will pan out. Miller Kreider Zucc, will be bounced around I think. I like Zucc in top 6 also but if Miller and Kreids have trouble, you have Moore and the other bottom 6 to fumble around a little. It's all good depth moves for insurance.

Plus remember we are also working with Cally and Hags missing the first 12+ games
