You were a little more harsh than I, which is rare, but I wrote something similar a little earlier.
I like getting Moore and that they really can't do much else free agency-wise. - MidnightMarauder
I may disagree with people but I'm not harsh as I am usually disagreeing with a well thought out point being made rather than someone who is plain stupid and clearly doesn't know what they are even talking about. There is a difference. |

Lecavalier and Streit will help this season. I also think a platoon situation between Emery and Mason will be alright. I don't think Philly is a contender but they look better today than they did at season's end. That was all I meant by that.
No other team in the East significantly got better today, not at all. - MidnightMarauder
what about Detroit and Tampa ?

Ok, I get it, you don't like Hendricks. - OLDSCHOOL#6
No but now that Moore is in the fold, I can see why they passed on the Hendricks deal. He is getting almost two million a season for four years. Moore's deal is a cool million for one year. It's a shrewd move, you can't say otherwise. Their play is similar and Moore actually has a little more skill than Hendricks. |

Just curious where he is mentally. Losing your life partner, man crazy. - TPC
Probably good he's going back to work, any children? |

I have no problem with Moore. |

what about Detroit and Tampa ? - ManhattanHockey
Detroit will likely lose Brunner and Cleary, on top of already losing Filppula for a 40 year old and a center who played 17 games last season.
It could work out but by no means is it a lock to work out.
Tampa did not improve today. They essentially swapped Lecavalier for Filppula; how is that a win for the Lightning? |

There is a difference for sure, I just thought it was pretty funny how you went off. |

I would think that would be something of an issue, as I'm sure if he has any they would be young. |

Good to see because I think it will be a good fit. |

I heard its supposed to only go up 5% as per the CBA. - aecliptic
Pretty late here but it does up by however much the revenue growth is. If it's 5% growth, which is a conservative estimate, it goes up by 5%. A lot of nhl executives have said they expect it to rise by 7 to 8 mil next season because of the outdoor games. |

On the Ryan deal, Stefan Noesen also went to the Ducks and he is a good player. |

No kids, and his brother was Steve Moore (Bertuzzi). I want a Rangers cup for this guy.
Edit: is Steve Moore |

So when Cally gets the cup, who does he hand it to first Hank or Moore |

Ducks did well here; Senators had the luxury of dealing away prospects for a big time forward. This was not a steal for Ottawa by any means. |

From an old article:
Part of how they coped with the instability of hockey life was to find a home where they could think about having children and Katie could write the novel she had started. They had bought a “dream unit” in a building in Boston in the fall of 2011. They could not have known what the future held. Last spring, while in San Jose, Katie fell ill, unable to keep food down. Scans and a biopsy confirmed the worst: fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma, a rare form of liver cancer that often afflicts younger people.

To me its basically Miller, Kreider, and a 1 for Ryan from our perspective. Would you do that deal? |

Why would we deal Kreider when we think he has the potential to be as good as Ryan? |

Agreed, a very good haul, especially for someone a free agent in two years. Love Silfverberg. |
