Keep in mind the cap hit. It would have to be more in order to clear room for Ryan. |

I can't believe thats all it took. Now the Richards non buyout pisses me off even more. We could have offered Hagelin a 1st and a mid prospect! |

Honestly, lot of good hockey people think Bobby Ryan is a floater, and I'm not convinced their wrong. |

I like Moore at 1 million. Good veteran 4th liner who can kill penalties but chip in some points unlike Powe...for a cheaper price |

How About buy out Brad richards then make the trade. rangers would have enough cap space then. i cannot believe we have to go with basically the same team as last year while so many others got better. |

Name me five teams that improved today? You can't because teams that win the offseason often never translates into Stanley Cups. |

Yeah, I wouldn't have given up on Miller AND thrown in DZ and 1st, thats a bit too much. Hagelin is more proven that Silvferberg, plus throw in a mid prospect and a 1st. That would have been a good deal for us. |

Exactly and I am quickly realizing why other fans laugh at the general New York Rangers fan.
Most of the regulars here are sensible but man some of you treat this as a fantasy hockey league.
I am actually quite happy with what is going on today. |

Who got better? Boston got worse. Pitt is worse than the we're at years end. Ottawa maybe a little better. The Jackets got better. But I'm not seeing anybody that got that much better. |
