They worked well in the playoffs despite Boston making short work of the Rangers.

Need to fill that third line spot a bit and they will be fine at forward.

The thing is... Pyatt and Boyle arent of the "pest" or "nuisance" mold. Plus with a decreased reliability on crashing the net and diving in front of pucks, that means skating will be at a premium and Boyle certainly isnt a great skater, Pyatt is an average skater. But I give Pyatt benefit of the doubt because he played and succeeded under AV for a couple years.

I agree but there are still plugs out there to be signed. I wouldn't mind Lapierre or Moore, especially Moore. Eithe rone of those guys is comparable to Hendricks. As far as Nystrom goes, yea he was intriguing but I bet Nashville overpaid for his services as well.

Come on dude, we expected the Rangers to not be big players in the UFA market.

It may be nice that we aren't jumping into this madness, but one thing that hurts us a lot is Stepan, McDonagh, Hagelin's contract values. By comparables, Stepan should be seeking 5M. 22 year old 80pt. player by contrast will not be satisfied with 4M per year, not when players with lesser stats and lesser roles are getting 5-6M per right now.

Glen Sather is less than useless.

Moore is a very good player, and since were such stat whores around here, hes a couple years removed from an 18 goal season.
