Boyle has a 20 goal season under his belt. Hendricks is a good role player but let's take it easy on the comparison and how substantially better Hendricks is.

Predators also signed Nystrom.

Four role players all went to Nashville. Role players are good when you have some upper echelon talent; which Nashville really doesn't have aside form Rinne and Weber.

See... I dont hate Boyle, he can chip in goals, he is very good on faceoffs, and he doesnt mind taking the body...

However it just gets so aggravating to see a big man like that get taken off the puck so damn easily, you cant trust him to skate with the puck, you cant trust him to make a crisp pass, and even when he does try to get physical... hes so damn "soft".

FFS, their bottom 6 is going to be brutal to play against... on top of the fact that they have a stacked defense and a top 5 goalie.

Preds will have the lowest GAA in the league, book it.

Maybe the price is too high.

Think of the teams that win titles, are they always the busiest on the first day of free agency? Keep calm folks, just because they are not getting involved in the absurdity doesn't mean they are destined to be bad.

By that theory, Toronto and Nashville are going to be world beaters next season.

Hank is working out a deal currently. I think Sather's biggest priorities are bringing back the players that are current in need of a new deal or on the verge of needing a new one.

Id like to see if we could get Gilbert, but with Ference getting 3.25m theres no way Gilbert will be in our price range.

I think we're the only team constantly looks at what a player has done, instead of what is going to do. The fact that Boyle has a 20 goal season under his belt means absolutely nothing. Hendricks is tougher, a better skater, and just as good if not better on draws. Therefore, he's the better player.

Also, if Boyle is going to be on the 4th line, then chances are he wont be getting the minutes to score goals. You dont really look to 4th liners to put up 20 goals. You want good hard skaters, tough characters and good face offs. Boyle only fits 1 of the 3.

Oh and good defensively, which Boyle is pretty good.

Luckily for the Rangers this is just an opinion on your part.

I hate bashing Boyle, he's a good guy and always tries his best. But Hendricks is the better player.

Boyle's most effective season came after the summer he focused on Power Skating with that world reknown skating instructor woman. That was the season he had an amazing step and they were constantly pointing out how Boyle's outside footspeed improved so much. That was also when we saw him routinely score at least 5-6 goals that season using outside speed and cutting towards the net, then roofing that backhander over the goalie's shoulder. I don't understand why he doesn't do that "power skating camp" every single off season.
