Ok...

Now...

With all these RIDICULOUS contracts being handed out right now... are you still pissed that Richards wasnt bought out and that Sather didnt have $ to wheel and deal right now?

- aecliptic

Would you rather Richards at his cap hit with a possible buyout next year or Vincent Lecavalier at five years and his $4.7 mil cap hit?

Its self explanatory.

Plus we still have the possibility of buying out Richards and bringing in Joe Thornton... who might be older, but still has plenty of game left in him... plus he really wants to play with Nash.

Theres also the possibility of a buyout and us going after the Sedin Twins, although I dont know if I can deal with their soft crap.

I think the teams have it on pretty good information that the cap will creep towards 80 million in the next 3 years, and that is the explanation for these deals.

Hey, still think we're gonna sign Stepan for $3.75M and McDonagh for $4M? Not a chance.

And yes, I'm still bitter we kept Richards because we could have had Lecavalier (if he wanted to come here) for $2M less than Richards. That would have left us with enough space to get someone else solid.

Would have, but on a third line, Id rather have Hagelin... I think Hag's has a bit more skill and a lot more speed. Not as big, but he doesnt mind getting dirty.

Rangers still need a physical forward with size to go with Dorsett and a big d-man.

I have it at 4.65 to McDonagh and 4-4.25 for Stepan.

Not a chance with the new revenue sharing structure. Its been projected at 5% growth rate that the cap will be around $71M in 2017.

Well, Falk is huge. McIlrath is a question mark. Pyatt is a big guy, AV might be fine with him.
