Aren't we exaggerating the importance of his contract?

$3,500,000, for a guy that put up 88 points in 129 games isn't that terrible.

- Pecafan Fan

He's one dimesional and when that one dimension is only average, there isn't going to be much of a market.

Well, he put them up in more like 89 games, then he was pointless (lol) for the rest.

I'm not talking about trading him.

I'm just saying that if he's got a good season, his salary isn't much of a burden.

Isn't that pretty much the case with anyone's salary?

bump in the road, I think he will turn it over.

People have been harder on him than on Scrotte Gomerde, who was supposed to have rebound seasons 3 years in a row.

No. I was asking if on his way back, he took Asiana Air to SFO. That flight specifically. No implying at all.
- hscesq

They were just saying on the news that one of the Asian teenagers may have died as a result of an emergency vehicle hitting her

I don't think so...maybe here but if you talk to other people you can clearly see he's nowhere near as hated as Gomez was.

Not necessarily...although I can hardly believe this will be the lineup for the start of the season....

Or maybe I just hope it won't be.

Well then, how about waiting until next trade deadline?

It's not like there is a player out there that they can't acquire because of his HUMONGOUS BIG salary.

Habs won't make the playoffs.

MB will make a trade this summer. Won't be a blockbuster.

Jaromir Jagr's camp no longer feels that the #habs have interest in the veteran winger. However, others are said to be making offers.

Maybe it's me, but since we have 5 centers to play on 3 lines, one would need to go. Process of elimination says DD goes, then Eller, then Plek.

We're stuck with Biere....

We also only have 3 right wingers. One of which is Parros, so not a 3rd line guy. The other is almost guaranteed to be injured at some point this season.

So with the 3.5mil, I would get some RWs.

So yes, trade DD for nothing and sign a FA, or trade DD for a right winger. Just get rid of DD and get a RW...

As long as he gets rid of at least 1 bad contract...

Wasn't expecting them to make the playoffs either...
