Agreed...just not sure if a tired war horse like Adams is the best we can get right now.

Think the ORG mindset has really changed from the early days of the Rocky Renaissance. Back then, it was STRIKE HARD, STRIKE FAST when the free agent frenzy opened...i.e. Khabibulin, Aucoin, Campbell....now with the requisite depth established and the 2 Cups...we can be much more patient and selective.

The Rozy signing was brilliant. The Brookbank signing was meh...ok. Just hope the scouts and decision makers make more Rozy, John Madden decisions than Pisani, Brunette decisions.

There's gotta be SOME moves made right? Yes, the Hawks' won the cup but they didnt go undefeated (kind of did to begin the season)...there's always room to improve.

I'm not calling for a blockbuster trade or anything, I'd just like to see/hear something about efforts to imrpove.

From what I read, he wants to parlay this into a bigger payday the season after. Don't see how he couldn't have done that here, as CC isn't the long term solution. Seems many teams are embracing the 2 goalie plan, unless they have a stud in net, but they need to pay them big, big, money.

All true...but we're heading into YEAR 7 with a guy taken 11th overall...and that brawl he started last year really showed he's STILL A MENTAL MIDGET.

There are vet bargains out there right now, especially at backup goalie, which if the Hawks are planning on signing one, probably need to do that soon since there isn't a long list of guys available.
