Maybe. I don't see how the Hawks move either one. Carcillo could be stashed away in Rockford without penalty, if I'm not mistaken. Brookbank would impact the cap slightly if stashed away in Rockford.

Yeah that's what I figured. He is still too young to take a cheap deal for a Cup. I think we are in a good spot to repeat. But I still wouldn't mind a Hockey deal like the Ott-Ana trade today.

He would be a great pick-up. It would be nice to ditch their salaries anyway. I think we need to ship out some high-salary but I don't know who. I guess we should just roll with it for another Cup run. We can repeat. But in a year or 2 one or 2 of these 5 million+ players might have to move

I agree with o'duya. He has been a really good pickup and is very popular, but I don't see them keeping him over hammer or seabrook. And I can see rozy being gone after this year if some of the kids are ready in 2014-2015.

I would say if Leddy takes another step this year that could make Oduya expendable and Clendening will be here next year.

I am a huge Kane fan and never wanted to trade any of the big 4. If it wasn't for a salary cap I would like all 4 to retire as Hawks. But unfortunately the cap is here to stay. I will always say one of the 4 has to go, but I realize now how much of an impact Kane has. He has to stay. So to me one of sharp or Hossa have to go eventually. That will be the new summer topic for me but not to trade them for a couple years
